Impressionist painter Sheila Swanson, a lifelong Texan, resides in the beautiful Hill Country and claims to have more than enough inspiration to paint every day and never run dry! The love of paint, brushes, colors and the like began at the tender age of 10. Since then, Sheila has taken art seriously, studying throughout the years with Warren Hunter, Ivan MacDougal, Ray Vinella, Gil Dellinger and a host of other outstanding painters. Sheila exhibits her work professionally through juried shows, museum exhibits, galleries, solo exhibitions, and a cultural exchange with Kumomoto, Japan .
A past president of San Antonio Watercolor Group and the Trinity Art League, Sheila also maintains memberships in the following:
